What's So Good About Oatmeal?

There comes a time in life, when people become aware that it’s difficult to stay away from the good stuff, and oatmeal is one of them.  How is oatmeal good for us? What are the different benefits that are obtained from oatmeal? Here are some ways that oatmeal can be used to bring about optimal benefits.

Oatmeal and Weight Loss
Want to lose weight? Well, eating oatmeal is not a bad place to start.  Oatmeal contains fiber, when eaten it helps people to feel full for longer periods of time.  Of course feeling full results in less eating, which causes weight loss.  This advantage of oatmeal  is further explained when it is said, “You will find that your body no longer is tortured with the constant cravings that come from simple carbohydrates. Thus, you end up with significantly more energy and less hunger.”

Oatmeal and Fibroids
Reducing the size of fibroids involves adding certain nutrients in the diet.  Fiber is very important to the uterine health of a woman.  Oatmeal is very high in fiber.  Fiber allows for the better function of the digestive system. When the digestive area is moving properly, the body is cleansed appropriately, which causes fibroids to shrink.  More on fibroids and oatmeal is explained when it is said; “Chapter 1 discusses the foods that we need to eat to assure good health: whole grains, legumes, raw seeds and nuts, fish, poultry, fruits, vegetables, sweeteners, herbs and spices, and water. This chapter covers not only the nutrient benefits of these foods and how best to include them, but also their role in relieving and preventing a variety of female health problems and other health issues. Be sure to incorporate these foods abundantly in your daily diet while enjoying their good flavors and textures.”

Oatmeal Contains Antioxidants
Free radicals in the body can damage our DNA.  Foods that are rich in antioxidants helps in stopping these free radicals from forming in the first place.  Oatmeal is known to have antioxidants.  When a person adds oatmeal to the diet, the chance of having cancer, heart disease, and diabetes is reduced.

Oatmeal is not only good to eat; it is also needed to keep the human body healthy.  Oatmeal can help the body in many different ways.  Take a look at some of the ways that are provided above.

Help to Reduce Fibroids Naturally

The human body is a beautiful and fascinating organism.  As we age, we realize that there is a lot of work involved in making the human body function properly.  Eating the right foods, exercising, and getting enough sleep is very important.  Spiritually and emotionally it is important to keep stress and anxiety at a minimum. Fibroids are non-cancerous tumors that are found both inside and outside of the uterus and they are a burden and concern to many women all over the world.  Here are some ways, through personal experience, that I have learned to reduce some of the symptoms of fibroids.

The Kidneys and Liver
The kidneys and the liver play a vital role in the formation of fibroids.  It is crucial to cleanse the kidneys and the liver from time to time.  The role of these organs is to remove toxins from the body.  If the toxins are not being removed or these organs are “sluggish” this will cause fibroids to appear. This is further explained when it is said, With all of the bad habits that you develop, including eating junk food throughout your life, your liver is most likely to become clogged at some point.”  There are different ways to clean and flush the kidneys and the liver.  Intense cleansing treatments exist and there are also gentle treatments that can be done every week.  The lemon cleanse is one of the simplest treatments to do and it can be done every day.  Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar is another product that can be used to cleanse the body.
If interested in a more intense cleansing, try the Castor Oil Cleanse.  This cleanse is good for anyone who has never done this procedure before and is in the process of changing to a better, healthier diet.

Eliminating Toxins and Estrogen
Many foods that we eat and products that we use can cause fibroids to increase.  One hormone that has been linked to the growth of fibroids is estrogen.  There are foods that naturally contain estrogens and there are foods that can be eaten to eliminate or reduce estrogen in the body.
There are also chemicals that are present in creams and hair products that contribute to the growth of fibroids.  A chemical that is used in many products are chemicals that end in the word paraben. When paying attention and analyzing products it will be discovered that there are many products with these chemicals.
Finally, the foods we eat also contain chemicals.  Changes have to be made to eat more organic products.   An increase in the consumption of fruits and vegetables is ideal, especially spinach and broccoli. These vegetables help with the reduction of estrogen levels.

Castor Oil Packs
Castor oil placed on the outer skin where the uterus is located, can help significantly in decreasing fibroids. A towel and a heating pad are needed in order to do this.  More on this process is explained in my article Reducing the size of Fibroids

Meditation and Prayer
Meditation and prayer are essential to developing a better attitude towards life and creating a healthier body.  Negative thoughts and undesirable feelings play a role on the condition of the body. There are many ways to meditate and there are many programs out there to help people.  One type of meditation that is very helpful, especially for women, is the meditations of Kenji Kumara . Kenji works with a process called Quantum Lightweaving and he focuses on the healing of the body through meditation.  He has meditations that are available on his website
